The main export products are ceramic products, plastics and their products, shoes and boots, etc. Enterprises declare to Guangzhou Customs that they will import goods under RCEP for 1.63 billion yuan and enjoy a tariff discount of about 34.161 million yuan. In the first quarter of the full implementation of RCEP, Guangzhou Customs has a total of about 3.07 billion yuan in import and export goods. Tariff reduction is a key focus of attention in the implementation of RCEP. After the agreement takes effect, over 90% of goods trade in the region will ultimately achieve zero tariffs. In order to accurately serve foreign trade enterprises and consolidate and expand the RCEP market, Guangzhou Customs has carried out RCEP policy lectures by sorting out the list of key enterprises and providing "customized" benefit plans, helping enterprises in the jurisdiction to fully understand the benefits of RCEP policies. Conduct a questionnaire survey on enterprises with large import business volume but low utilization rate of tariff benefits in the customs area, conduct targeted training for enterprises, and guide them to fully enjoy tariff benefits. According to statistics, in the first 8 months of this year, Guangzhou Customs issued a total of 12364 RCEP certificates of origin for enterprises, with a value of 3.42 billion yuan in benefits; Enterprises declare to Guangzhou Customs that they will import goods under RCEP for 3.51 billion yuan and enjoy a tariff discount of 70 million yuan.
