The Navy's Qi Jiguang ship visited Indonesia and docked at the Jamrud dock in Surabaya Port. On the morning of the 17th local time, the Chinese Navy's Qi Jiguang ship, who was on an overseas internship mission, arrived at the first stop of the mission - the Port of Surabaya, Indonesia, for a three-day friendly visit. This is Qi Jiguang's first visit to Indonesia. At around 10 o'clock, the Qi Jiguang ship slowly docked at the Jamrud dock. Representatives of Indonesian navy officers and soldiers, staff of the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in Indonesia, Chinese enterprises, and representatives of overseas Chinese attended the welcome ceremony. During the visit, the naval officers and soldiers of the two countries will carry out a series of activities, including mutual visits, discussions and exchanges, and ball friendly matches. Chinese commanders will visit the leaders of Indonesian naval forces and academies, and hold a deck reception at the Qijiguang ship. The Qi Jiguang ship will be open for visits to the Indonesian military, local citizens, and overseas Chinese. After the visit, both sides will organize joint exercises at sea for courses such as ship formation movements, joint communication, and lighting flags. The Qi Jiguang ship set sail from Qingdao on September 4th. During the 13 consecutive days of navigation, over 300 Chinese and foreign naval trainees conducted in-depth cultural exchanges and professional joint training, enhancing friendship and improving navigation skills. Two Indonesian navy students and two Thai navy students who boarded the ship from Qingdao will end their internship training at Surabaya Port and leave the Qijiguang ship.
