Changerding Rocket Launches Remote Sensing Satellite 39

The reporter learned from China Aerospace Science and Technology Group that at 12:13 on September 17th, the Long March 2nd D carrier rocket ignited and took off at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. Subsequently, the remote sensing 39th satellite was successfully placed into the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success. At this point, Aerospace Science and Technology Group has successfully completed its 30th space launch mission this year, with a total of 30 victories. The Remote Sensing 39 satellite was jointly developed by Aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite Co., Ltd. of the Fifth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group and the Eighth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group. The Long March 2 D carrier rocket is a two-stage liquid carrier rocket developed by the Eighth Academy of Engineering, with the ability to launch single or multiple satellites with different orbital requirements. Its 700 kilometer solar synchronous orbit carrying capacity is 1.3 tons. This is the 488th launch of the Long March series carrier rocket. (New News Agency)
