According to a press conference from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the 2023 World River Civilization Forum (Zhengzhou, China), hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of Henan Province, will be held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province from September 16th to 18th. During the forum, discussions will be held and the "Zhengzhou Declaration of the World River Civilization Forum" will be released. It is reported that the theme of this forum is "Civilization Exchange and Mutual Learning, Development and Joint Creation of the Future". Four sub forums are set up, including the diversity and exchange and mutual learning of world river civilizations, the inheritance and promotion of Chinese civilization and the Yellow River culture, the dialogue between Chinese civilization and world civilization, and the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin. The aim is to fully promote the Yellow River culture, further enhance the influence of Chinese culture, and strengthen the exchange and mutual learning of world civilizations. This forum plans to invite about 360 Chinese and foreign guests to participate, including about 60 foreign experts and scholars, as well as representatives stationed in China, to jointly explore how to better achieve the inheritance, promotion, and protection of the great river civilization, and strive to make the forum an important display platform for China's archaeological achievements and Chinese civilization, as well as an international chemical technology platform to enhance exchanges among scholars from various countries An important cooperation platform for scholars in various fields represented by archaeology to carry out innovative explorations, assisting in the international dissemination of Chinese archaeology and the construction of the international discourse power of Chinese archaeology.
