The "Pure Homeland 2023" multinational joint mine clearance operation is a joint mine clearance operation organized by the co chairs of China and Cambodia, based on the consultation consensus of the ASEAN Defense Ministers' Expanded Meeting's mine clearance expert group. The Chinese task force participating in this operation is mainly composed of a brigade of the 75th Group Army, with minesweeping teams, explosive disposal teams, teaching classes, etc. This multinational joint mine clearance operation mainly covers three tasks: on-site joint mine clearance, joint teaching of mine clearance and explosive disposal, and discussion at the command center. It will be carried out simultaneously in the training school of the Cambodian Royal Army's multinational peacekeeping force and the surrounding minefields. The officers and soldiers we selected to carry out the task are all capable forces, "said the leader of the task team. In order to ensure the success of this operation, over 60% of the officers and soldiers they selected to participate in the operation have experience in peacekeeping or border clearance, and are very experienced. It is reported that from 2021 to 2023, China and Cambodia served as co chairs of the ASEAN Defense Ministers' Expanded Meeting's Mine Clearance Expert Group.
