The reporter learned from the municipal government press conference held yesterday that the 2023 Pujiang Innovation Forum (16th) will be held in Shanghai from September 9th to 11th, with the theme of "Open Innovation Ecology: Innovation and Global Links". The guest of honor of this forum is Brazil, and the guest of honor province is Hubei Province. It will focus on organizing an opening ceremony and plenary session, two themed forums, nine themed forums, two exhibition and docking events (the first Global Entrepreneurship Investment Conference, the fourth Global Technology Transfer Conference), multiple press conferences, "China Pakistan Night" and other activities. The Pujiang Innovation Forum, co hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Shanghai Municipal Government, was established in 2008. The forum always revolves around the theme of innovation, closely follows the pulse of the times, and plans and promotes innovation from a global perspective. This forum aims to be a national level platform for global technological innovation exchange and cooperation, inviting about 300 Chinese and foreign guests, with nearly 40% of them from overseas. They come from 32 countries and regions including China, Brazil, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Serbia, and 12 international scientific and technological organizations. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of a strategic partnership between China and Brazil. During the forum, the first China Brazil Nanotechnology Seminar and the fourth China Brazil Innovation Week related activities will be held to jointly explore new paths for innovation in industry university research cooperation. In addition, Brazil's latest scientific and technological achievements and demands will be displayed in the national pavilion of the Global Technology Transfer Conference. Focusing on the theme of the forum "Open Innovation Ecology: Innovation and Global Links", at the plenary meeting of this year's forum, Petro Barabaski, Director General of ITER, Bai Keshan, Global CEO of Elsevier, Jin Li, academician of the CAS Member, president of Fudan University, and He Dongfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of COMAC, As well as Xu Donglian, an associate professor at the Li Zhengdao Research Institute and scholar of Li Zhengdao, who has established the "Youth Special Lecture Chair" for the first time, they will share the latest progress and achievements in international thermonuclear fusion experimental reactors, human phenotype group projects, and global innovation cooperation for large aircraft. Since 2012, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Sub Forum of the Pujiang Innovation Forum has held 11 sessions, attracting over 100000 geeks, makers, and entrepreneurs from around the world to participate. This year, the sub forum has been upgraded to the Global Entrepreneurship and Investment Conference (WeStart), establishing an international innovation and entrepreneurship service platform for "finding" capital for projects and "finding" projects for capital, targeting the three major hard technology tracks of biopharmaceuticals, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing. At present, more than 1000 pre A-round financing entrepreneurial projects have been registered, with over 500 incubation institutions and over 200 investment institutions participating.
