To ensure the safety of train operation, Guangzhou Railway Group plans to take shutdown measures on multiple lines in Guangdong, including the Beijing Hong Kong High Speed Railway, Guangzhou Shenzhen Intercity Railway, and Guangzhou Shenzhen Hong Kong High Speed Railway, from August 31 to September 4. The South China Sea Forecast and Disaster Reduction Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources issued a red wave warning at 8:00 on the 31st. Affected by "Sula", there will be huge waves ranging from 4 meters to 7 meters in the coastal waters of eastern Guangdong from the morning of August 31st to the morning of September 1st. The operators of oil well platforms and offshore wind power construction platforms affected by the typhoon have started to evacuate as required. Reporters learned from Huizhou Maritime Safety Administration on the 31st that all 13 offshore construction projects in Huizhou sea area have stopped construction, 8 offshore wind power project construction ships and unpowered ships have implemented typhoon prevention work, and 416 people have been evacuated safely.
