The naming should closely revolve around the theme of this event, pay attention to the connotation of individual names, and comprehensively consider the systematicity, coordination, and complementarity among the names of the manned space series of aircraft; Reflecting the combination of traditional Chinese culture and modern technology, it not only has Chinese characteristics and distinct implications for technology and exploration, but also represents the characteristics and application value of aircraft. The solicitation activity is organized and implemented in five stages: announcement, preliminary selection, online voting, final selection, and result announcement. On the same day, the Manned Space Engineering Office also launched the 2024 manned flight mission identification solicitation activity. It is reported that in 2024, China's manned spaceflight will carry out four flight missions: Tianzhou-7 cargo spacecraft, Shenzhou-18 manned spacecraft, Tianzhou-8 cargo spacecraft, and Shenzhou-19 manned spacecraft.
