Solar photovoltaic panels have replaced traditional sunshades, with vertical axis fans rotating to provide wireless phone charging for tourists in the pavilion below; On the southern slope of the road, photovoltaic facilities extend towards the end of the view... In the Jinxiang service area of the Zaohe Expressway in Shandong Province, changes brought about by the development of new energy can be seen everywhere. This "energy supply, consumption, and reception" independently controllable green highway has accumulated over 5 million kilowatt hours of photovoltaic power generation during the trial operation phase in the Jinxiang section, saving about 1800 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 4150 tons. This is an example of China's vigorous promotion of green, low-carbon, and high-quality development. On August 29th, the 2023 Green, Low Carbon, and High Quality Development Conference opened in Shandong, a major industrial province in China, showcasing more of China's "Chinese wisdom" in contributing to global green development in energy conservation, emission reduction, and innovative development. The data released by the National Development and Reform Commission of China at the opening ceremony of the conference shows that in the past decade, China has supported an average annual GDP growth of 6.6% with an average annual energy consumption growth of 3%. The energy consumption per unit of GDP and carbon dioxide emissions have decreased by 26.2% and 34.4%, respectively. The installed capacity of wind power, photovoltaic, and hydropower are all among the top in the world, and historical achievements have been made in green, low-carbon, and high-quality development. Promoting green and low-carbon development requires technological innovation as the key support. At the opening ceremony of the conference, participants generally believed that with the accelerating pace of green and low-carbon development, the role of technology in reducing carbon emissions and promoting social green transformation has become a global consensus, and progress has been made in fields such as new energy vehicles, mining, batteries, and shared electric bicycles. In the production area of Lai113 Block in Shengli Oilfield, located in Dongying, Shandong, under the blue sky and white clouds, two 10 meter long, 4.4 meter high, capsule shaped white storage tanks are particularly eye-catching. It is reported that this is a dedicated gas storage tank for the Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) project, and it is also the first skid-mounted mobile carbon dioxide injection equipment in China. The high pressure and low temperature inside the tank can store 100 tons of carbon dioxide in liquid form. CCUS is an important technological means to address global climate change. It can effectively 'drive oil' and increase oil production; it can also permanently trap carbon dioxide underground, achieving full sealing and zero emissions, "said Wu Jihui, the head of the CCUS project department. Currently, China's CCUS industry has entered the stage of commercial operation, and Shengli Oilfield has built 20 standardized injection stations with an annual injection capacity of 1 million tons. Entering Donghua Technology Co., Ltd., a cement production enterprise located in Zichuan District, Zibo, Shandong, every step of the company's "carbon footprint" can be accurately captured. 8 types, 339 sets of sensors, and digital twin technology help enterprises achieve carbon measurement, "carbon footprint" management, and carbon accounting. This can save enterprises 2 million yuan in carbon compliance costs, 18000 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 20000 tons per year. In 2021, China released the "Action Plan for Carbon Peaking before 2030", which focuses on implementing the "Top Ten Carbon Peaking Actions", including energy green and low-carbon transformation actions, energy conservation, carbon reduction and efficiency enhancement actions, industrial carbon peaking actions, urban-rural construction carbon peaking actions, and transportation green and low-carbon actions
