2023 China Cross border E-commerce Fair Closing in Guangzhou

On August 20th, the 2023 China Cross border E-commerce Fair (Autumn) (hereinafter referred to as the "Cross Trade Fair") closed in Guangzhou. This year's Cross border Trade Fair attracted about 30000 professional buyers, with an exhibition area of about 40000 square meters. It consists of three major exhibition areas: cross-border e-commerce suppliers, cross-border e-commerce platforms and service providers, cross-border e-commerce comprehensive trial zones, and industrial parks. 31 provinces and autonomous regions including Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, as well as 10 countries including Russia, India, Malaysia, Peru, and Ecuador participated in the exhibition. Cross border e-commerce is the new international trade format with the fastest development speed, the greatest potential, and the strongest driving force. "Xu Bing, Deputy Director of the China Foreign Trade Center, said that according to World Trade Organization predictions, global B2C cross-border e-commerce will maintain a growth rate of 27% before 2026. In the first half of this year, cross-border e-commerce imports and exports reached 1.1 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16%. Qiu Zongbing, General Manager of the South Guangdong Region of Alibaba International Station, said on site, "We can see from platform data that buyer demand has increased by 30% this year, with 90% of industries showing a rapid growth trend and 91% of countries also experiencing rapid growth. The overall trend of cross-border e-commerce is continuing to improve." Qiu Sheng, Vice President of Amazon China, analyzed that it is expected that by 2027, The total global retail e-commerce volume outside of China will reach a scale of $4 trillion for the entire year, bringing broad growth opportunities for Chinese export cross-border e-commerce enterprises. During the Cross Trade Fair, Amazon Global Store launched the "2023 Amazon Global Store Opening China Export Cross border E-commerce Global Opportunities White Paper", analyzing Amazon's development trends and potential in the 18 major overseas sites worldwide, providing reference and reference for enterprises to build a more balanced and diversified global layout, becoming one of the climaxes of the main forum. The forum also invited industry experts and business leaders in the field of generative artificial intelligence (AIGC) to participate and express their insights, delving into new opportunities for AIGC empowering industry development, and attracting many practitioners to attend the exhibition in person.
