Focusing on the Implementation of the "8+9" Industry New Industry Standardization Pilot Project

2023-08-23

On August 22nd, the reporter learned that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Energy Administration, and the National Standards Commission, has recently issued the "Implementation Plan for the New Industry Standardization Navigation Engineering (2023-2035)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Implementation Plan"). The Implementation Plan proposes that by 2025, the standard system supporting the development of emerging industries will gradually improve and the standards leading future industrial innovation and development will accelerate the formation. More than 2000 national and industry standards have been newly formulated, and more than 300 advanced group standards have been cultivated, making the role of standards in guiding the high-quality development of industries more powerful. New industries refer to emerging and future industries that have developed and strengthened through the application of new technologies, characterized by active innovation, technology intensity, and broad development prospects. The Implementation Plan proposes to focus on eight emerging industries, including new generation information technology, new energy, new materials, high-end equipment, new energy vehicles, green environmental protection, civil aviation, shipbuilding and ocean engineering equipment, as well as nine future industries, including metaverse, brain computer interface, quantum information, humanoid robot humans, generative artificial intelligence, biological manufacturing, future display, future network, and new energy storage, to coordinate and promote the research and formulation of standards Implementation and internationalization. In order to balance the medium and long-term development of new industry standardization, the Implementation Plan proposes the "three step" goals for 2025, 2030, and 2035, and promotes the implementation of engineering. Among them, by 2025, the proportion of standard achievements in common key technologies and applied science and technology plan projects will reach over 60%, and the linkage between standards and industrial technology innovation will be more efficient. By 2030, the standard system to meet the high-quality development needs of new industries will continue to improve, and the standardization work system will become more sound. By 2035, the supply of standards to meet the high-quality development needs of new industries will be more sufficient, and a standardized work system for new industries with enterprise entities, government guidance, and open integration will be fully formed. The relevant person in charge of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that the "Implementation Plan" decomposes and sets up five main tasks based on the standardization needs of different stages of the development of new industries, including building systems, strengthening capabilities, seizing emerging industries, seeking the future, and expanding space. It answers the questions of "what" and "how" new industry standardization needs to be done. (New News Agency)
