Folding screen phones not only break through the concept of "face saving", but also solve the problem of portability and coexistence of large screens. By integrating phones and tablets, they have opened up new modes of human-computer interaction and new forms of information ecology. Under the folding screen, the functions of the phone are enlarged, providing a richer range of application scenarios, meeting the practical needs of users for screen size during work and entertainment. From the current sales data, both horizontally foldable phones with larger screens and vertically foldable phones with smaller shapes have achieved good market results. Folding screen phones have become synonymous with high-end products and are an important "stepping stone" for mobile phone manufacturers seeking market breakthroughs. In recent years, apart from high-end chips, other technologies have already been widely applied on low-end models, making it difficult to support the improvement of mobile phone brand positioning. Therefore, possessing foldable screen technology has become a means for mobile phone brands to "show off their muscles", and in addition, foldable screen phones are currently priced higher, becoming synonymous with high-end. Actually, it's not easy to make a foldable screen phone. At the beginning of its launch, many experts believed that it was difficult for domestic manufacturers to achieve mass production of foldable screen smartphones. Nowadays, foldable screen phones still face two major bottlenecks, one is the screen material, and the other is the hinge technology. Most of the pain points for users are concentrated in screen creases, display faults, and cracks. Therefore, leading domestic manufacturers are currently expanding into the foldable screen mobile phone market, with the most important goal of demonstrating their research and development capabilities, and enhancing brand value to higher fields in the name of future technology, thereby increasing their penetration into the high-end market. Currently, global smartphone shipments continue to decline due to factors such as weak innovation and extended consumer replacement cycles, and China's mobile phone market has shifted from an incremental market to a stock game. In order to cope with fierce market competition, top brands have further enriched their product lines and generally adopted a dual flagship strategy of "straight screen+foldable screen". Folding screens will be the most effective in the next 3 to 5 years
