From the 29th to the 30th, the 2023 Greater Bay Area ASEAN Economic Cooperation (Qianhai) Forum was held in Shenzhen, releasing the "Greater Bay Area ASEAN Economic Cooperation Joint Initiative". During the forum, the Greater Bay Area ASEAN International Chamber of Commerce Association and China ASEAN Think Tank Partners held a founding ceremony, and seven economic cooperation projects between the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area and ASEAN countries were signed in a centralized manner, involving industrial park construction, digital economy, agricultural cooperation and other aspects, with a contract amount of 12.1 billion yuan. The "Greater Bay Area ASEAN Economic Cooperation Joint Initiative" released at the meeting proposed to further deepen Greater Bay Area ASEAN economic and trade cooperation and promote people-to-people communication by building an economic cooperation dialogue platform, deepening industrial and investment cooperation, promoting scientific and technological innovation and technological achievement transformation cooperation, strengthening regional chamber of commerce exchanges and cooperation, and encouraging regional talent and cultural exchanges. More than 150 foreign guests from the governments of the ten ASEAN countries, diplomatic agencies in China, chambers of commerce, think tanks and business representatives, and guests from the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area attended the forum. The 2023 Great Bay Area ASEAN Economic Cooperation (Qianhai) Forum is co sponsored by the China ASEAN Center, Shenzhen Qianhai Administration, the Great Bay Area ASEAN Research Center of Shenzhen University, and the Guangdong High tech Industry Chamber of Commerce. It has four sub forums, namely, the Regional Cooperation Forum, the Think Tank Cooperation Forum, the Industrial Cooperation Forum, and the President's Forum of the Chamber of Commerce.
