Zhao Leji said that since the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries in 2019, bilateral relations have developed rapidly, showing a positive and good momentum. Zhao Leji introduced the concept and practice of Chinese path to modernization, saying that the new achievements of Chinese path to modernization will provide new opportunities for world development. China is willing to deepen strategic communication with all sides, tap into cooperation potential, and build a closer community with a shared future between China and Pacific island countries. Sogavare said that there is only one China in the world, and Taiwan is a part of China. Solomon Islands firmly adheres to the One China policy and is willing to deepen cooperation with China in various fields to promote deeper and more solid relations between the two countries.
