In terms of building a national healthcare highland, Guangdong will continue to promote the linkage construction of national medical centers, regional medical centers, and high-level hospitals, promote internal governance, medical diagnosis and treatment, and homogenize disciplinary development, support high-level hospitals in rational planning and construction of multiple hospital districts and centers, and extend to areas with weak capabilities through group development, promoting the sinking of high-quality resources. The meeting clearly stated that we will fully promote the construction of the Healthy Bay Area, encourage hospitals within the Greater Bay Area to jointly form various specialized alliances, strengthen the co construction and sharing of high-quality medical resources with Hong Kong and Macao, promote the international certification of hospital quality, accelerate the integration of medical regulations, and do a good job in public health joint prevention and control. Promoting the inheritance, innovation and development of traditional Chinese medicine is an important aspect of Guangdong's medical reform work. Guangdong will promote the construction of national medical centers for traditional Chinese medicine, regional medical centers, and "flagship" hospitals for the coordination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, promote the construction of traditional Chinese medicine highlands in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and strengthen the cultivation of traditional Chinese medicine talents and scientific research innovation. In order to consolidate the grassroots foundation and build a new pattern of orderly medical treatment and diagnosis, the meeting clearly stated that a new round of grassroots medical and health service capacity improvement plan should be implemented. Around the "million" goal, mechanisms such as effective use of counterpart support, group assistance, and overall trusteeship should be utilized to deeply promote the construction of the grassroots public health system, county-level medical communities, and the "10000 doctors going to the countryside" three major projects. At the same time, Guangdong will utilize the construction of five provincial-level regional medical centers and a close urban medical consortium to strengthen medical quality, safety, and service management, and enhance the emergency and critical diagnosis and treatment capabilities of the five major centers at the city and county levels, including chest pain, stroke, trauma, critical maternal care, and critical child and newborn care; Expand the functions of township health centers, improve contract signing services for family doctors, and ensure full coverage of rural medical and health services. In deepening the reform of the disease prevention and control system, Guangdong encourages eligible cities to establish disease prevention and control expert committees, improve the chief expert system of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and support joint training of talents between disease control institutions and universities. In addition, strive to establish a national regional public health center and promote the core capabilities of county-level disease control centers to reach the forefront of the country.
