The 2023 China Tibet Development Forum, co hosted by the State Council Information Office and the People's Government of Tibet Autonomous Region, was recently held in Beijing. The theme of this forum is "New Era, New Tibet, New Journey - A New Chapter of High Quality Development and Human Rights Protection in Tibet". More than 150 Chinese and foreign guests from 36 countries and regions gathered to discuss high-quality development plans in Tibet and jointly seek the development of human rights protection. The forum has five sub forum themes, including "the practice of people's democracy in Tibet in the whole process", "high-quality development and common prosperity in Tibet", "inheritance, protection and development of Tibetan culture", "youth power in the construction of ecological civilization on the Tibetan Plateau", and "international communication of Tibetan stories in the digital era". Chinese and foreign guests have exchanged and discussed from multiple perspectives. Developing people's democracy throughout the process is one of the essential requirements of Chinese path to modernization. Wu Qingjun, Vice President of the Academy of Social Sciences of the Tibet Autonomous Region, stated that the establishment and development of the ethnic regional autonomy system in Tibet provides important institutional guarantees for the entire process of people's democracy, and the practice of the entire process of people's democracy in Tibet further enriches the connotation of the ethnic regional autonomy system. The Tibet related white paper released by China has the function of showcasing the achievements of Tibet's development and changes, and promoting the international community to have a correct understanding of Tibet. "After analyzing the evolution process of the Tibet related white paper released by China, Professor Wu Xi from the School of Journalism and Communication at Southwest University of Political Science and Law stated that in recent years, the themes of the white paper have further covered topics such as the construction of democracy and politics in Tibet, comprehensively presenting the historical achievements of Tibet's human rights cause. To build a modern socialist country in all respects, we must, first and foremost, pursue high-quality development. How can Tibet solve this problem? We need to continue to promote the consolidation and expansion of poverty alleviation achievements, effectively connect with the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization, and focus more on people's livelihood issues that are of general concern to the people. Jiang Hua, Director of the Rural Revitalization Bureau of the Tibet Autonomous Region, proposed suggestions such as optimizing top-level design, strengthening monitoring and assistance, focusing on industrial employment and stable income growth, and coordinating rural construction. Xing Guangcheng, director of the China Frontier Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, believes that Tibet's high-quality development cannot be separated from the guidance of the new development concept, and the logical relationship between the five elements of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing in the new development concept must be handled well. In order to achieve high-quality development, we need to continue to attach importance to scientific investigation and the role of science and technology. Taking into account Tibet's poverty reduction efforts and development achievements in recent years, Mozambique's Ambassador to China, Gustava, believes that technology can help us cope with various challenges and problems faced in social transformation and further improve our social efficiency. In combination with the recent visit to Tibet, many participants believed that to promote high-quality development and common prosperity in Tibet, we should take into account the development of economic, social, ecological, cultural and other undertakings, meet new global opportunities, and let people of all ethnic groups share the fruits of development. Today, the excellent culture of Tibet has received unprecedented protection and inheritance, which is also a microcosm of the prosperity and development of Tibet in the new era. "We will promote the protection, inheritance and development of Tibetan traditional culture, so that people of all ethnic groups can share high-quality public cultural services and live a happy life." Zheng Dui, Director General of the China Tibetology Research Center, said that today, with the spread of Tibetan culture
