Kyrgyz economist and co-founder of PEAK Public Fund, Iskandel Sharshekhev, recently stated in an interview with Xinhua News Agency that China and the five Central Asian countries reached a series of cooperation consensus during the China China Asia Summit, reflecting China's determination to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with neighboring countries and bringing huge economic dividends to the Central Asian region. Sharshekov believes that consensus on simplifying trade procedures and promoting cross-border customs facilitation can significantly improve the efficiency and speed of cross-border trade, making transactions smoother and more cost-effective, and benefiting enterprises from various countries. He stated that upgrading China's investment agreement with Central Asian countries indicates China's willingness to strengthen economic ties with Central Asian countries, which will promote the establishment of a good investment environment, help Central Asian countries attract more foreign investment, promote economic growth in the region, and create employment opportunities. This economist believes that cooperation between China and Central Asian countries is expected to create new regional trade and commercial hubs, promote cross-border flow of goods and services, and assist in supply chain construction, market integration, and regional trade. Sharshekov stated that through measures such as trade facilitation, investment agreements, and infrastructure construction, the cooperation consensus reached at the China China Asia Summit will bring huge economic dividends to the Central Asian region, including Kyrgyzstan.
