On May 14th, the 2023 Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Urban Cycling Challenge kicked off at the Zengjiang Gallery Scenic Area in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou. This event attracted a total of 300 cyclists and enthusiasts from all over the country. The competition is divided into three groups: the Men's Highway Elite Group, the Men's Highway Volkswagen Group, and the Women's Highway Group. The track starts and ends at the Zengjiang Gallery Scenic Area in Guangzhou, forming a single 5-kilometer circular closure through Landscape Avenue and Landscape South Road. Along the way, the scenery is beautiful, with a panoramic view of scenic spots, historical sites, and cultural landscapes. It is understood that the 2023 City Cycling Challenge in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao aims to vigorously promote national fitness in the area, showcase the positive sports style and spirit of cycling, help build a new sports tourism industry system, and empower the deep integration of culture, sports, and tourism in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.
