According to the consensus of the armed forces of China, Iran, Russia and other countries, from March 15 to 19, the navies of China, Iran, Russia and other countries will hold the "Security Tie-2023" maritime joint military exercise in the Gulf of Oman. The "Security Tie-2023" maritime joint exercise was developed from the China-Iraq-Russia maritime joint exercise held twice in 2019 and 2022. China sent the Nanning missile destroyer to participate in the exercise, mainly participating in the exercises of air search, maritime rescue, maritime separation and other subjects. The exercise will help deepen the practical cooperation between the naval forces of the participating countries, further demonstrate the willingness and ability to jointly maintain maritime security and actively build a community of maritime destiny, and inject positive energy into regional peace and stability.
