On the 27th, the final of the first Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay District Doctoral Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition opened at the Zhuhai International Conference Center. In the two-day competition, 113 events will compete for the final championship. With the theme of "attracting talents from all over the world and creating talent bay", this competition has a total of 2161 team projects and nearly 10000 people, including 360 from Hong Kong and Macao and 597 overseas doctoral postdoctoral candidates. After the selection of the preliminary and the second round, 113 high-level projects came out and entered the finals, including 57 innovation competitions and 56 entrepreneurship competitions. During the finals, supporting activities will also be held at the same time, such as the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area doctoral postdoctoral talent exchange conference, the transformation and docking of doctoral postdoctoral scientific research achievements, and so on. Wei Jianwen, the second-level inspector of the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Guangdong Province, said that since the promulgation of the Outline of the Development Plan for the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, this is an exclusive innovation and entrepreneurship event for the doctoral postdoctoral group, and also a grand event for talent exchange and cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The competition will be conducive to providing strong talent support for Guangdong Province to implement major strategies such as manufacturing ownership and help promote high-quality economic and social development.
