After nine years of coordinated development between Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, a heavy transcript was handed over. Statistics show that in 2022, the total economic volume of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei will exceed 10 trillion yuan, 1.8 times that of 2013 at current prices. The overall strength of the region will reach a new level and high-quality development will be fast and steady. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, with an area of 216000 square kilometers and a population of more than 100 million, is geographically connected, closely related, geographically integrated and culturally integrated, and has a natural foundation for mutual integration and coordinated development. According to the data of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Provincial Bureau of Statistics, the GDP of Beijing and Hebei exceeded 4 trillion yuan, both 4.2 trillion yuan, twice and 1.7 times that of 2013; Tianjin reached 1.6 trillion yuan, 1.6 times that of 2013. Industrial synergy is one of the four key areas of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy that have taken the lead in breaking through. It is also the key to holding the "bull nose" of Beijing's non-capital functions. More and more enterprises in Beijing have extended their core industrial chain to Tianjin, Xingtai, Zhangjiakou and other places, not only optimizing the supply chain layout, but also further opening up the market. On the basis of relieving the non-capital functions of Beijing, the three places rely on convenient transportation advantages, and the industrial chain is deeply integrated and complementary. There are more and more stories about Beijing-Tianjin R&D, Hebei manufacturing, Beijing R&D, and Tianjin Hebei transformation. According to the data, in 2022, Tianjin attracted 198.94 billion yuan of investment from Beijing and Hebei, and Hebei undertook 4395 units transferred from Beijing and Tianjin. Since 2014, 43900 units have been transferred, of which nearly eight have been transferred from Beijing. Key areas have accelerated collaboration, the main framework of "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei on the track" has been formed, and the sub-center of Beijing and Xiong'an New Area have "two wings flying together". The transportation, ecology, industry and public services have taken the lead in breaking through, and the progress is encouraging. Under the guidance of coordinated development, Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei continued to increase investment in innovation, and emerging economies developed rapidly. Among the fourth batch of "specialized and new" small giant enterprises in 2022, there are 535 in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, accounting for 12.3% of the country's total, and the main body of innovation is growing. The data shows that in 2022, the added value of Beijing's digital economy will account for more than 40% of GDP, the high-tech manufacturing industry in Tianjin will account for 14.2% of the added value of industries above designated size, and the added value of high-tech industries in Hebei will account for 20.6% of the added value of industries above designated size. The new industry will continue to rise. (Xinhua News Agency)
