On the 17th, China's independent third-generation nuclear power technology "Hualong No.1", the first unit in batch construction, the outer dome of China Nuclear Power Group Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Unit 1, was successfully lifted, marking the completion of the construction of the main structure of the unit, and laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation of cold test and grid-connected power generation. At present, the first four units of "Hualong 1" have all been completed and put into operation. The domestic batch construction of "Hualong 1" is progressing smoothly, and has become one of the most competitive third-generation nuclear power generator types in the world nuclear power market. It is understood that each nuclear power unit of "Hualong No. 1" can generate more than 10 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, which can meet the annual production and domestic electricity demand of 1 million people in the moderately developed countries. At the same time, it is equivalent to reducing 3.12 million tons of standard coal consumption and 8.16 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, which is equivalent to planting more than 70 million trees.
