In the past three years, the trend of Spring Festival holidays dominated by local tourism and peripheral tourism has changed this year, and long-term tourism has achieved rapid recovery. According to the data of Feizhu Travel Network, the order volume of domestic long-distance travel during the Spring Festival increased by more than 500% year on year; The traffic and travel data on the platform also reflected this change. The order volume of domestic air tickets increased by more than 40% year on year, and the order volume of train tickets increased by nearly 80% year on year. Dai Bin said that the data showed that the medium and long distance market began to lead the holiday tourism economy, and the local leisure consumption of returning home tourists promoted the growth of tourism income during the Spring Festival holiday by 7 percentage points higher than the growth of the number of tourists, It strongly promoted the overall recovery of the tourism market during the Spring Festival holiday. Not only does the radius of travel increase, but also tourists spend more time traveling and staying at the destination. On Qunar Travel Online, the number of domestic hotels staying for more than three consecutive days reached a record high, with the average length of stay increasing 3.6 hours year on year. According to Tujia B&B data, during the Spring Festival holiday this year, B&B bookings in Dali, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xiamen, Lijiang and other places were hot, and the average number of stay days of B&B on the platform was 2.3 days, reaching the peak since the COVID-19. "The popularity of peripheral tourism is still on, cross-provincial tourism is recovering rapidly, and the confidence of mass tourism has been restored," said Hu Yang, vice president of Tujia Homestay. According to the VAT invoice data of the State Administration of Taxation, the sales revenue of travel agencies and related services during the Spring Festival holiday increased 1.3 times year-on-year, and has recovered to 80.7% of the 2019 Spring Festival holiday. The sales revenue of tourist hotels and economic chain hotels increased by 16.4% and 30.6% respectively year on year, and recovered to 73.4% and 79.9% of the 2019 Spring Festival holiday respectively. The personalized service provided by the homestay industry was welcomed by tourists, and the sales revenue increased by 74.2% year on year.
