Reporters learned from Shangdang Branch of Changzhi Public Security Bureau of Shanxi Province on the 5th that two suspect who illegally sold fireworks across the province have been arrested and criminal coercive measures have been taken. At the end of June this year, the police of Shangdang Branch of Changzhi Municipal Public Security Bureau found that Wang Mouxing (who had been dealt with separately) illegally transported fireworks and firecrackers in the area under his jurisdiction without the approval of the relevant state departments. In the process of handling the case, the police further found that Bu Moulin (from Shangli County, Jiangxi Province) and Zhang Mouqing (from Suzhou, Anhui Province) of Wang Mouxing sold fireworks to him, and the amount involved was large, which was suspected of illegal operation. Later, the Shangdang police traveled more than 3000 kilometers across Shanxi, Shaanxi, Anhui and Hunan provinces and cities. With the cooperation of the police in many places, they captured the two men in Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, and Liuyang City, Hunan Province, respectively. After investigation, since October 1, 2020, the suspect Bu Moulin and Zhang Mouqing still sell fireworks and firecrackers to Shanxi Province after knowing that the Administrative Region of Shanxi Province has issued the Notice on Prohibiting the Production, Operation, Storage, Transportation and Setting off Fireworks and Firecrackers. The suspect, Bu Moulin and Zhang Mouqing, have confessed to their criminal facts. At present, the police have taken criminal coercive measures according to law, and the case is being further handled.
