The reporter learned from the Ministry of Water Resources that from January to November, the national investment in water conservancy construction was 1008.5 billion yuan, an increase of 33% over last year. The investment in water conservancy construction reached the level of 1 trillion yuan for the first time, which is the largest year since the founding of New China. Ten provinces have invested more than 50 billion yuan, including 74 billion yuan in Guangdong and 65.2 billion yuan in Yunnan. Water conservancy construction fully played the role of stabilizing investment and promoting employment, directly attracting 2.36 million people, including 1.92 million migrant workers. By the end of November, there had been 25000 water conservancy projects under construction nationwide, with an additional investment of 1.18 trillion yuan, 3767 more projects under construction and 651.1 billion yuan more investment than last year.
