CCPIT: Take multiple measures to help Chinese enterprises expand business opportunities

The reporter learned from China Council for the Promotion of International Trade that, in response to the needs of the exhibition industry and foreign trade enterprises, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade timely launched targeted measures to resume overseas trade exhibitions, and has completed the pilot approval of 15 overseas trade exhibitions from November this year to February next year. Since China Council for the Promotion of International Trade issued the Notice on Doing a Good Job in the First Batch of Pilot Examination and Approval Projects for Overseas Economic and Trade Exhibitions in early November, the first batch of 15 pilot examination and approval projects for overseas economic and trade exhibitions from November 2022 to February 2023 has been completed, including 13 exhibition projects and 2 self exhibition projects, which are distributed in 8 countries, including Germany, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and involve textile, auto parts, sports goods, electronics, consumer goods and other fields. According to reports, from the six pilot projects of overseas trade and economic exhibitions that have been implemented, enterprises have reported that they have gained a lot from participating in the exhibition. Taking the Asia Textile and Garment Fair as an example, more than 90% of the participating enterprises have reached an intended transaction, and each enterprise has on average met more than 50 effective customers, including up to 60% of new customers. In August this year, CCPIT officially accepted the application of the organization of the national overseas trade and economic exhibitions to participate in overseas exhibitions in such innovative forms as "participating in overseas online exhibitions", "participating on behalf of others" and "holding exhibitions offline remotely". At present, 22 projects have been approved by the end of 2022, and 17 projects have been implemented. In addition, CCPIT actively organized entrepreneurs' delegations to participate in APEC Business Leaders Summit, G20 Business Summit, China Latin America Entrepreneurs Summit and other activities to help Chinese and foreign enterprises strengthen docking talks and tap cooperation opportunities and potential; Foreign trade enterprises were organized to return to important overseas exhibitions in the form of offline participation. Nearly 60 Chinese enterprises went to Germany to participate in the International Sporting Goods Exhibition in Munich, Germany, with a signed amount of about 18 million euros and an intent note amount of about 35 million euros. Many exhibitors have reserved their next booth. The relevant person in charge of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade told the reporter that next year, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will focus on resuming the organization of offline overseas exhibitions of enterprises, organically combine the work of overseas exhibitions with the high-quality co construction of the "the Belt and Road", stabilize foreign trade and foreign capital, explore diversified markets, and focus on developing countries, emerging market countries and strategic emerging fields to participate in exhibitions, while taking into account the well-known industry exhibitions in developed countries, Take multiple measures to help enterprises expand business opportunities.
