In the next few decades, the global population will continue to grow, but the growth rate will slow down and there are regional differences. The author does not believe that the arrival of 8 billion people or 9 billion people is a "milestone", because population is a slow variable, and the arrival of 8 billion population day will not trigger any meaningful social change, and what should the world do or not. As the Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund, Kareem, said, "People should not worry about population data alone." The population growth often reflects the appearance of the problem, which is just the "tip of the iceberg". The economic, social and cultural management under the "sea level" is more complicated. Is the arrival of the eighth billion Earth people more joyful or more worrying? This is a difficult question to explain in a word. To roughly examine the relationship between population and resources and environment, we can use the multiplier effect, divisor effect, addition effect and subtraction effect of population, push effect and resistance effect, innovation effect, production effect, consumption effect, as well as aggregation effect, dissipation effect and solidarity effect. The increase of global population mainly comes from developing countries and regions, which are in the delicate balance of population transformation. High infant mortality needs to be balanced by a high birth rate. By 2050, the global population will reach 9.7 billion. More than half of the population growth mainly comes from eight countries, which generally need conscious and responsible technical support for family planning and contraception. More importantly, we should build a community with a shared future for mankind, establish the concept of "only one earth" and "harmonious earth", and jointly play the role of responsible and caring "earth people". Indeed, human ideas and behaviors have a far greater impact on the world than the size of the population. Humans need a profound way of thinking, living style and lifestyle revolution. Some American scholars pointed out that instead of questioning whether 8 billion people are too large for the earth, and blaming the problem on the developing countries with the fastest population growth, the bigger problem is actually the excessive consumption of resources by the richest people. It is estimated that if everyone lives according to the economic conditions of Indians, human beings only need 0.8 earth bearing capacity per year. But if everyone consumes like the Americans, they need five earth resources every year. The population has different social attributes and ethnic characteristics, living in different geographical regions and national systems. It is difficult for the African population to share the resources of developed countries thousands of miles away. According to statistics, even if the current global food production is enough to feed 8 billion people, 800 million people will still suffer from "chronic malnutrition". To improve the uneven pattern of resource possession, distribution or distribution, it is necessary to build a social mechanism of humane care for vulnerable groups. It is of little significance to measure the so-called pressure and burden of global population growth on resources and environment with per capita indicators alone.
