The 15 day "International Medical and Health Week" will hold a series of conferences and exchange activities aimed at promoting innovation and investment exchanges in the Asian medical and health industry and capturing new opportunities in the industry. Among them, the second Asian Medical and Health Summit Forum and the 13th Hong Kong International Medical and Health Expo are two key activities, which comprehensively cover the upstream and downstream industrial chain of medical and health, including technology research and development, investment matching, instrument production, medical products and services. The first "International Medical and Health Week" also covered the Leling Technology Expo and Summit, the 27th Anniversary Academic Conference of the Hong Kong Urological Society, the Hong Kong International Optometry Conference and other conferences and exchange activities. Fang Shunwen, President of Hong Kong Trade and Development Council, said at the press conference on October 31 that since the emergence of the COVID-19, medical health and life sciences have become the most concerned topics in the world. The TDC has been promoting the medical technology and applied instrument industry through different channels for many years, and has noticed that Hong Kong has significant advantages in the medical and health industry. She said that this year, TDC made every effort to coordinate the first "International Medical and Health Week", hoping to bring together global policy officials, medical experts, research authorities, business leaders and financial leaders, share the latest information in the industry and establish business contacts, so that Hong Kong can share opportunities in the rapidly developing medical and health industry in Asia.
