The scientific goal of "Kuafu No.1" is "one magnetic field and two bursts". Gan Weiqun said: "This word is specially put forward for this satellite. 'Magnetism' is magnetic field, and 'two storms' are two types of the most violent eruptions on the sun - flares and coronal mass ejections.
