Lhasaro said that the Chinese demining team is a highly professional, disciplined and committed team, which has always maintained a record of "zero accidents" and "zero casualties", providing important support for maintaining peace and stability in South Lebanon. Lassaro officially took over the command of UNIFIL on February 28 this year, and his visit on February 6 was the first time he visited the minefield of the Chinese peacekeeping force since taking office. Since China sent peacekeeping troops to Lebanon in 2006, it has so far sent more than 7000 peacekeepers, removed more than 15000 mines and unexploded ordnance, and provided more than 87000 medical assistance to the local people.
