From January to July, the fixed asset investment of rural roads nationwide was 227.31 billion yuan, up 14.6% year on year; The mileage of newly reconstructed rural roads was 81000 km, up 20.3% year on year; The country implemented 43000 kilometers of rural road safety and life protection projects, a year-on-year increase of 35.5%; 4279 dangerous bridges of rural roads were reconstructed, with a year-on-year growth of 16.6%. The service and safety guarantee capacity of rural roads was further improved. By the end of July 2022, 733000 jobs had been created in the field of rural road management and maintenance, including 365000 poor households, accounting for 49.8%. Rural highway projects have attracted 155000 people from farmers, including 36000 people from poor families, accounting for 23.2%. 2699 rural roads across the country were implemented in the form of work relief, with a total labor remuneration of 490 million yuan and 53000 rural laborers, including 13000 people who had been deprived of poverty.
