According to the latest data released by the China Association of automobile industry a few days ago, in August, the purchase tax preference and other policies to promote consumption continued to make efforts, driving the consumption of passenger cars to stabilize and rise, the production and sales of commercial vehicles to achieve the first year-on-year growth since this year, and the production and sales of new energy vehicles and automobile exports to hit a record high year-on-year. In the first eight months, China's automobile production and sales were 16.967 million and 16.86 million, up 4.8% and 1.7% respectively year-on-year, achieving the first double growth of production and sales since the second quarter. The production and sales of passenger cars are obviously promoted by policies. In August, the production and sales of passenger vehicles were 2.157 million and 2.125 million, up 43.7% and 36.5% respectively year-on-year. The production and sales of commercial vehicles achieved the first year-on-year growth since this year. In August, the production and sales of commercial vehicles were 238000 and 258000, up 3.1% and 4% respectively year-on-year. The production and sales of new energy vehicles and automobile exports continued to grow. In the first eight months, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 3.97 million and 3.86 million, up 1.2 times and 1.1 times respectively year-on-year. In the first eight months, automobile enterprises exported 1.817 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 52.8%, including 340000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 97.4%. China Automobile Industry Association predicts that passenger vehicles will continue to grow rapidly in the coming months, and new energy vehicles and automobile exports will continue to develop well, providing a strong guarantee for the stable growth of the automobile market throughout the year.
