In the first eight months, China's automobile production and sales were 16.967 million and 16.86 million, up 4.8% and 1.7% respectively year-on-year, achieving the first double growth of production and sales since the second quarter. The production and sales of passenger cars are obviously promoted by policies. In August, the production and sales of passenger vehicles were 2.157 million and 2.125 million, up 43.7% and 36.5% respectively year-on-year. The production and sales of commercial vehicles achieved the first year-on-year growth since this year. In August, the production and sales of commercial vehicles were 238000 and 258000, up 3.1% and 4% respectively year-on-year. The production and sales of new energy vehicles and automobile exports continued to grow. In the first eight months, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 3.97 million and 3.86 million, up 1.2 times and 1.1 times respectively year-on-year. In the first eight months, automobile enterprises exported 1.817 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 52.8%, including 340000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 97.4%.
