In addition, the Ministry of housing and urban rural development promoted flexible employment personnel to participate in the housing provident fund system, further expanded the coverage of the system, and stimulated the vitality of new economic entities such as individual businesses and freelancers. Last year, 13.54 million people withdrew 125.9 billion yuan from the housing provident fund for rental housing. Guangzhou, Xiamen and other cities have also explored optimizing the withdrawal method to provide more convenience and discounts for depositors to rent houses. Second, support depositors to purchase the first and improved housing. Last year, more than 3.1 million low interest housing loans were issued, with an amount of nearly 1.4 trillion yuan, of which the first housing loan accounted for 85.8%, and the loan for employees under the age of 40 accounted for 75.9%. A 20-year provident fund loan of 500000 yuan can save about 140000 yuan in interest expenses for home buyers. Third, give preferential policy support to specific groups in need. Recently, with the cooperation of relevant departments, it has issued support policies for housing consumption of families with many children. In addition, the national housing provident fund applet was launched, and 341 urban provident fund centers were all connected, providing a total of 50.73 million people with personal information inquiry services.
