At the training ground of punhong railway station in Vientiane Province, Laos, our military's health train is divided into 25 carriages, equipped with locomotives, trams, surgical emergency vehicles, intensive care vehicles, casualty transport vehicles, operation command vehicles, camping vehicles, logistics support vehicles and other functional carriages, just like a mobile hospital with complete functions. On the health train, each functional carriage is equipped with special medical instruments and equipment, the wounded transport vehicle is equipped with special access and auxiliary devices for the wounded in the lying position, and the surgical emergency ambulance is equipped with two special surgical beds, which can implement emergency surgical treatment in the running state. Chen Hao, a member of the Chinese command and coordination team of the joint exercise, said that the maximum formation of the health train can carry nearly 500 recumbent patients, and can complete nearly 30 operations every day. It can provide support for the railway evacuation of batch patients, the implementation of inherited treatment and emergency treatment in the tasks of medical support and disaster rescue, and fill the gap of our army's land large-scale medical evacuation equipment. Lao side took part in the performance with medical service equipment such as field tent hospital system and high mobility field ambulance. Sitaong, head of the Lao command and coordination team and deputy director of the Health Bureau of the General Logistics Department of the Lao People's army, said that these equipment were donated by the Chinese side in the "peace train" series of activities carried out in 2018 and 2019.
