On July 20, the "dream Pearl River · fly - 2022 internship experience activity for Taiwanese college students in Guangzhou" hosted by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Guangzhou municipal Party committee was officially launched. More than 150 Taiwanese college students from more than 30 universities, including Peking University, Sun Yat sen University, the University of Macau, and Taiwan Jiaotong University, will integrate into Guangzhou, grow and develop in internships and exchange research activities. It is worth noting that more than 30% of the students participating in this activity are from universities outside Guangdong Province. After learning about the activity information, some Taiwanese college students studying in Taiwan universities took the initiative to ask for isolation at their own expense to come to Guangzhou to participate in the internship. It is understood that the organizers focused on Guangdong provincial and municipal state-owned enterprises, well-known private enterprises in the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises, universities and scientific research institutions, widely raised high-tech jobs such as finance, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, the Internet, and screened 1000 high-quality jobs. Among them, business and financial jobs account for more than 70%, in addition to legal, public service, design and other jobs. During the internship, Taiwanese college students will carry out a "Lingnan Culture Tour", visit the exhibition hall of modern and contemporary revolutionary history, and visit leading high-tech enterprises in Guangzhou. At the same time, vlog short video competitions and other activities were carried out to help Taiwanese college students record their lives and leave little memories. This year is the second time that Taiwan student Xie Jiayi of Jinan University participated in the internship experience in Guangzhou. Different from the last participant, this time she chose to help more Taiwan youth realize their entrepreneurial dreams in Guangzhou at the Guangzhou Taiwan Youth Innovation and entrepreneurship service center. "Guangzhou is a city full of vitality and vitality, and the increasingly rich Taiwan preferential policies have also strengthened my determination to develop here." "I hope they can really understand Guangzhou and integrate into Guangzhou. I also hope they can bring the story of Guangzhou back to more young people in Taiwan, so that they can really understand Guangzhou." Su Yifang, chairman of Guangzhou Taiwan Youth Innovation and entrepreneurship service center, said. It is reported that the six Guangzhou internship experience activities of Taiwan University students have attracted a total of 2000 Taiwan University students. (Xinhua News Agency)
