From January to June, 18.5 million deadweight tons of shipbuilding were completed nationwide, including 5.93 million revised gross tons of seagoing ships; The new orders received were 22.46 million deadweight tons, of which 11.13 million were revised gross tons for seagoing ships. By the end of June, the number of hand-held orders was 102.74 million deadweight tons, an increase of 18.6% year-on-year, of which sea going ships accounted for 42.29 million revised gross tons, and export ships accounted for 88.7% of the total. The concentration of the top 10 enterprises in shipbuilding completion nationwide was 70.9%, an increase of 1.6 percentage points over the end of 2021; The concentration of the top 10 enterprises with new orders was 68.3%, down 1 percentage point from the end of 2021; The concentration of the top 10 enterprises holding orders was 66.5%, down 3 percentage points from the end of 2021. On June 27, the fourth of the 15000 TEU double fuel super large container ship series built by Chinese ship Jiangnan Shipbuilding was officially signed and delivered. The ship takes liquefied natural gas (LNG) as the main fuel, with a cabin capacity of 14000 cubic meters, which can support ships to and from Asia Europe routes. Subsequent orders continue. Recently, Jiangsu new era Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. signed a contract with Mediterranean Shipping Company for the construction of 20 LNG dual fuel powered container ships, which is the largest single order for dual fuel powered ships in China's shipbuilding industry. "China's shipbuilding industry has overcome the adverse effects and stood the test, which fully reflects the toughness of industrial development." Li Yanqing, Secretary General of China Shipbuilding Industry Association, said that in the first half of the year, Chinese shipbuilding enterprises undertook a large number of orders for gas ships and dual fuel ships, marking that Chinese shipbuilding enterprises have become an important participant in the global energy revolution.
