It has been less than a year since the first ASEAN train was launched here. It has become the international train platform with the largest operation density in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area. The logistics chain is becoming more and more smooth, and "bay area manufacturing" is accelerating to the world. According to the statistics of Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of customs, from January to April this year, Guangdong opened 230 international freight trains in Central Europe, Central Asia and Southeast Asia, with a year-on-year increase of 91.67%. Since the entry into force of the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement (RCEP) on January 1 this year, the "Guangdong ASEAN" railway corridor has been further unblocked. With the support of the customs, the international trains from Guangzhou Dalang, Guangzhou Zengcheng, Shenzhen pinghunan and Jiangmen north to Laos have been running smoothly, saving more than 10 days than traditional shipping. Since the opening of the China Laos Railway on December 3 last year to the end of April this year, a total of 27 China Laos trains to Vientiane, Laos have been operated in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay. With the accelerated development of "China Europe" and "China ASEAN" transportation channels, Guangdong's international logistics network has been further expanded. At present, the number of departure stations of Guangdong international freight trains has increased to 7, which are distributed in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Jiangmen and other cities. It is expected that Guangzhou Datian container center station will also be opened soon. In Guangzhou, Dalang station has shipped more than 500 China Europe trains in total, and the frequency of shipment has increased from 1-2 trains per week to 3-4 trains per day in the peak period. In April this year, it set a new daily average of 4 trains per day. Zengcheng west railway station has built a "1 + 4 + n" logistics system for China Europe trains. From January to April this year, 83 China Europe trains were launched, with a value of 1.76 billion yuan, an increase of 59.6% and 44.3% respectively over the trains issued in 2021. In Shenzhen, since its opening, the "bay area code" China Europe train has operated a total of 189 trains, transporting 109000 tons of goods with a value of 5 billion yuan. "Haitietong in the bay area" connects China Europe trains and maritime routes along the maritime Silk Road, creating a three-dimensional logistics network connecting Europe and Asia in the north and ASEAN in the south. In Jiangmen, the "Jiangmen" middle-aged and old train was opened in March, realizing the first international freight train in the history of the West Bank of the Pearl River. In April, "Jiangmen North - Duisburg, Germany" China Europe train line was also successfully opened. "Since the beginning of this year, the Customs has fully supported the high-quality development of international freight trains in Guangdong, ensured the smooth flow of Guangdong's supply chain and industrial chain, stabilized the international logistics costs of enterprises, and improved the efficiency of customs clearance and transportation." Wang Kan, deputy director of the Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of customs, said that through the "Internet +" and the "single window" of international trade and other information platforms, the integrated customs clearance and paperless declaration of China EU freight trains have been realized. At the same time, the "synchronous and seamless connection" mode between enterprise declaration and customs supervision has been implemented to guide enterprises to choose the "Railway Express customs clearance" mode to achieve one-time declaration. Next, combined with the special action of cross-border trade facilitation, the customs will continue to optimize the customs clearance process of trains, improve the level of railway customs clearance facilitation, support the construction of departure hub stations of trains, and promote the high-quality development of international trains in Guangdong.
