Chain drugstores have competitive advantages over single drugstores in terms of drug price, sales scale, variety and quantity, responsibility ability and so on. If the additional conditions are not completed as required, the drug regulatory department will revoke the issued drug trading license according to law. Franchise stores shall not purchase drugs by themselves With the consent of the chain headquarters, drugs can be allocated between the direct stores of the same chain enterprise, except for frozen drugs, drugs under special management and drugs with special management requirements of the state. Chain enterprises can entrust no more than two wholesale enterprises to undertake the distribution business, or they can add two more wholesale enterprises to distribute drugs on the basis of self built distribution centers. The chain headquarters is responsible for the operation and management of chain enterprises, drug procurement, quality control and the unified management of chain stores. Chain enterprises need to set up a special quality management organization to be responsible for the construction and implementation of the quality management system, supervise and urge chain stores to continuously comply with the provisions of the "seven unification" and other functions, and establish a drug traceability system to realize drug traceability. Chain stores undertake the responsibilities of store drug management, drug sales and pharmaceutical care.
