Data show that from January to February this year, China's cumulative exports of mobile phones and household appliances decreased by 20.6% and 7.9% respectively year-on-year. Shu jueteng said that although the situation facing China's foreign trade development is complex and severe, we should also see that China's foreign trade industry has a strong foundation and sufficient toughness of the industrial chain and supply chain. The recently released report on the export trade (B2B) index of small, medium and micro enterprises in 2021 believes that China's small, medium and micro foreign trade enterprises will continue the excellent performance of last year. In the face of the uncertainty of the epidemic situation and the high prices of raw materials and bulk commodities, how can we further support the development of small, medium-sized and micro foreign trade enterprises? Shu jueteng said that the Ministry of Commerce will continue to work with relevant departments and localities to implement the previously issued policies and measures to stabilize foreign trade and take multiple measures to ensure the stability and smoothness of the supply chain of the foreign trade industry chain. The construction of characteristic service export base is an important measure to promote the high-quality development of China's service trade. The Ministry of Commerce recently released a list of newly identified export bases for professional and characteristic services. Up to now, China's characteristic service export bases have covered seven fields: culture, traditional Chinese medicine, digital services, human resources, geographic information, intellectual property rights and language services, with a total of 112. Shu jueteng said that the Ministry of Commerce will work with relevant departments to guide the construction of characteristic service export base, study and introduce policies and measures to support the development of the base, encourage the base to vigorously cultivate market players and service brands of characteristic service trade with international competitiveness, and promote the expansion of service export.
