According to the website of Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, from 0:00 to 24:00 on March 24, there were 4 newly confirmed cases in the province (including 1 case of asymptomatic infection), 2 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Dongguan and 1 case in Zhongshan. Seven local asymptomatic infections were added, one in Shenzhen and six in Dongguan. There were 11 new confirmed cases imported from abroad in the province (of which 3 cases were transferred from asymptomatic infection), 4 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 2 cases were from South Korea, and the other 2 cases were from Japan and Solomon Islands respectively; Foshan reported 1 case from Singapore; Shenzhen reported 5 cases and Jiangmen reported 1 case, all from Hong Kong, China. 43 cases of asymptomatic infection were newly imported from abroad, 16 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 8 cases were from Solomon Islands, 2 cases were from Iraq, and the remaining 6 cases were from the United States, Bangladesh, Singapore, Laos, Bahrain and Nigeria respectively; Foshan reported 2 cases, all from South Korea; Shenzhen reported 17 cases, Zhuhai reported 6 cases, Zhongshan reported 1 case and Jiangmen reported 1 case, all from Hong Kong, China. 83 cases were newly discharged, and 1035 cases are currently in hospital. Novel coronavirus pneumonia positive infection was reported in 12412 cases (7798 cases imported), as of March 24th, 24 cases, including 6515 cases (3697 cases imported) and 5897 cases of asymptomatic infection (4101 cases were imported abroad).
