According to the official website of Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, from 0:00 to 24:00 on March 20, there were 38 newly confirmed cases in the province (of which 3 cases were transferred from asymptomatic infection), 3 cases in Guangzhou, 33 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Dongguan and 1 case in Zhongshan. There were 16 new cases of asymptomatic local infection, including 11 cases in Shenzhen, 4 cases in Dongguan and 1 case in Zhongshan. There were 7 new confirmed cases imported from abroad in the province (including 2 cases of asymptomatic infection), 1 case in Guangzhou, 3 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Zhuhai and 1 case in Zhongshan, all from Hong Kong, China; Foshan reported a case from Belgium. 46 cases of asymptomatic infection were newly imported from abroad, 9 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 3 cases were from Nigeria, 2 cases were from Qatar, and the other 4 cases were from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ethiopia and Bahrain respectively; Shenzhen reported 23 cases, 22 from Hong Kong, China and 1 from Kazakhstan; Foshan reported 1 case from Tajikistan; Zhuhai reported 7 cases and Zhongshan reported 6 cases, all from Hong Kong, China. 152 cases were newly discharged, and 1261 cases are currently in hospital. Novel coronavirus pneumonia positive infection was reported in 12133 cases (7599 cases imported), as of March 20th, 24 cases, including 6424 cases (3658 cases imported) and 5709 cases of asymptomatic infection (3941 cases were imported abroad).
