In principle, those who fail to pass the high school performance cannot graduate. The opinions proposed to carry out the "quality evaluation" of physical education for students in colleges, middle schools and primary schools. Starting from the freshmen entering the school in the autumn of 2022, the mode of "quality evaluation + unified examination" will be adopted, and the score of middle school physical education examination will be gradually improved. The opinions clearly stipulates that primary and secondary schools should arrange at least 30 minutes of recess sports activities every morning, and encourage primary and secondary schools to set up a physical education class every day. If there is no physical education class on that day, they should arrange at least 40 minutes of extracurricular physical exercise in the afternoon, and arrange an appropriate amount of extracurricular physical homework.
