The notice on further standardizing the preset behavior of mobile intelligent terminal application software (Draft for comments), drafted by the information and communication administration of the Ministry of industry and information technology and the Network Security Coordination Bureau of the state Internet Information Office, has been publicly solicited for comments. The draft proposed that the preset application software of mobile intelligent terminal should follow the principles of compliance according to law, user first, safety, convenience and minimum necessity, safeguard users' right to know and choice according to law, and protect users' legitimate rights and interests. The draft requires that manufacturers should ensure that preset application software other than basic function software can be uninstalled, and provide safe and convenient uninstallation methods for users to choose. At most one preset application software that realizes the same basic function can be set as non uninstallable. (Xinhua News Agency)
