Fu Bingfeng introduced that in 2022, the fundamentals of China's long-term macroeconomic improvement will not change, ensuring the sustained growth of the automobile market. At the same time, with the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, its impact on the market will gradually weaken. In addition, due to the huge demand potential of China's automobile market, the gradual easing of chip shortage and the strong demand for new energy vehicles, the automobile market will maintain growth in 2022. New energy vehicles are still a bright spot in the automobile market in 2021. The production and sales of 3.545 million and 3.521 million vehicles were completed respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 1.6 times, and the market share reached 13.4%, ranking first in the world for seven consecutive years. Guo Shougang, deputy director of the first equipment industry department of the Ministry of industry and information technology, said that China's new energy vehicles have entered a new stage of accelerated development. He hopes that all localities will introduce more preferential policies for parking, charging and other use links, optimize vehicle purchase restriction measures, and create a good environment for promoting the consumption of new energy vehicles. At the same time, accelerate the promotion and application, guide enterprises to improve product quality and service level, so that consumers prefer to buy and use more at ease. In 2021, the automobile export was 2.015 million, a year-on-year increase of 1 times, exceeding 2 million for the first time, an increase of 3.7 percentage points over the previous year. Fu Bingfeng predicts that the growth rate of China's automobile export will be about 20% in 2022. For the current prominent chip shortage problem, Wang Weiming, director of the first equipment industry department of the Ministry of industry and information technology, said that at present, the world's major chip enterprises have gradually increased the production and supply of automotive chips, and the new production capacity will be released one after another. It is expected that the supply shortage of automotive chips will be gradually alleviated in 2022. The Ministry of industry and information technology will take measures to continue to strengthen the connection between upstream and downstream supply and demand and the work coordination of all parties, comprehensively promote the promotion and application of automobile chips, jointly tackle key problems, guide social capital to actively invest in production, manufacturing, packaging and testing, and improve the supply capacity of automobile chips.
