In October this year, Ganzhou issued the measures for the protection and management of memorial facilities for heroes and martyrs (hereinafter referred to as the measures), which clearly stipulates that "from late November to early December every year, we will uniformly organize and carry out memorial activities for the martyrs of the Xiangjiang campaign". This is the first memorial activity carried out according to law after the implementation of the measures. Ganzhou is the famous old red capital and the starting point of the long march of the Central Red Army. In the southern Jiangxi Soviet Area, more than 330000 people participated in the Red Army and more than 600000 people supported the front to fight. In the Xiangjiang campaign alone, more than 20000 children of Southern Jiangxi died. In order to inherit and carry forward the spirit of heroes and martyrs and strengthen the protection and management of memorial facilities, the city specially issued the measures, which clearly requires the organization of commemorative activities and ceremonies with local characteristics, and clarify the responsibilities of departments at all levels to protect red relics and give full play to the role of hero and martyr memorial facilities. At the same time, the city played a supervisory role of the people's Congress and helped protect revolutionary historical sites through public interest litigation of procuratorial organs. At the former site of the military headquarters of the red Fourth Army in Yanyuan Wai, Longnan City, the relevant person in charge told reporters. In July 1932, the Fourth Red Army stationed in yanyuanwei and left slogans such as "ten political platforms of the Communist Party" and "Red Army marching song" on the wall, which was called "Red Army siege" by locals. In 2018, Longnan culture, radio, television, press, publication and Tourism Bureau repaired the former site of the military headquarters of the Fourth Army in yanyuanwai and erected a monument for protection. In February this year, Longnan Municipal People's Procuratorate found that the management and protection of yanyuanwai was not in place during the visit and investigation, and immediately issued pre litigation procuratorial suggestions to relevant units to repair and protect the old red site according to law.
