The line is led from Yayao station of Guangzhou Zhuhai railway, passing through Jiangmen, Zhongshan, Foshan and Guangzhou, and finally to Nansha port area; There are 8 stations in the whole line, among which Wanqingsha station (reserved), Nansha port station and Nansha Port South Station have freight function, Tangxia station, Jun'an station, Dongfeng station and Nansha station have passenger function, and Huangpu station has passenger and freight function at the same time. According to the introduction, in order to safely and efficiently promote the track laying construction of the main line, the construction party, China Railway 25th Bureau, overcame the adverse factors such as difficult mobilization and transportation of long track pushing operation and many cross operations, and strengthened the allocation of construction resources by focusing on fine management and standardized construction. A total of 5 locomotives, 17 rail cars, 4 large tamping machines, 2 welding machines and 130 pneumatic vehicles were invested in the whole line, Nearly 10000 cubic meters of ballast were loaded every day, and three shifts of construction personnel were organized to work day and night. Finally, the goal of track laying node of the main line was successfully achieved. It is understood that the subgrade, bridge, tunnel and other main works of the project have been completed, the construction of communication, signal, power and catenary have been basically completed, the communication transmission system has been connected to the existing network of China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group, and the catenary is planned to be electrified on December 8; A total of 42539 square meters of freight production and living houses have been built along the whole line, accounting for 89.8% of the total design. At present, the main building works of Tangxia, Jun'an and Dongfeng stations have been basically completed, the wall masonry and house decoration projects are being promoted, and the platform canopy is under final construction; The main works of Jiangmen north station have been completed by 50%, the station building foundation of Huangpu station is under construction, and the platform canopy has been completed by 80%. As the first passenger and freight double track railway to enter the Nansha free trade area of Dawan District, Nansha port railway is also an important part of the freight channel in the west of the Pearl River Delta. After completion, it will open the "last kilometer" of sea rail public transport, build a three-dimensional transportation network of port, railway and highway multimodal transport, and directly serve the collection and distribution and port industry of Nansha port area, It is of great significance to build a land sea intermodal transport channel with Nansha port as the core, build a strategic fulcrum of the maritime Silk Road and the Silk Road Economic Belt, build Nansha free trade port, improve the function of Guangzhou shipping hub, and promote the coordinated development of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area. Guangzhou Nansha port railway passes through the economically developed Pearl River Delta and the core area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area. Along the line, there are many modern enterprises and port enterprises, with broad freight prospects. According to the preliminary prediction, the total freight volume of the whole line of Guangzhou Nansha port railway can reach 32.2 million tons in the near future and 46.6 million tons in the long term. Among them, the total freight volume of Nansha port station, the leading freight station, can reach 21 million tons in the near future and 29.45 million tons in the long term.
