Recently, the national railway's first automatic production line research project of "disassembly, washing and assembly" of retarder controlled by robot passed the final acceptance of the expert group at Harbin South Station of China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd. The acceptance results show that the project is ready for use. This will greatly improve the efficiency and quality of station retarder maintenance, improve the technical prevention and safety management level, effectively improve the operating conditions of maintenance personnel and reduce the labor intensity of operators. As an important hydraulic equipment to control the rolling speed of vehicles in Hump Speed Regulation System, retarder is widely used in railway marshalling stations. There are 12880 retarders in Harbin South Railway Station. In the long-term use process, due to the normal consumption of oil and gas and the wear and fatigue damage of parts, the braking function of retarders will be reduced and the critical speed will be changed, resulting in vehicle damage or derailment. Therefore, the repair and maintenance of Retarder in the process of use is extremely important. Previously, its maintenance and maintenance operation completely relied on manual operation, with long operation time and high labor intensity. In the important links such as disassembly, cleaning and installation of retarder, incomplete cleaning and parts damage are easy to occur due to the different sense of responsibility and business level of operators, which directly affects the safety and service life of retarder. In order to solve the prominent problems existing in the maintenance and repair of the retarder, Harbin south railway station cooperates with the robot group of Harbin Institute of technology, and develops the automatic production line of "disassembly, washing and assembly" of the retarder in combination with the operation characteristics and actual situation of the station. The production line is composed of disassembly, cleaning, assembly, detection and transmission mechanisms. The logic cooperation of fully customized auxiliary disassembly mechanism and multi-functional industrial manipulator is adopted to realize the automatic disassembly and installation of sliding oil cylinder of retarder. The cleaning process is divided into two processes: rough cleaning of the whole top and fine cleaning of parts. The parts of the sliding oil cylinder are cleaned by ultrasonic cleaning technology, rinsed with hot water and dried to ensure that there is no dead corner during cleaning. At the same time, the touch screen and configuration software are used to control and monitor the whole system to ensure that the key performance indicators of each retarder are visible, adjustable and controllable. It is understood that the automatic production line can complete the disassembly, cleaning and assembly of about 15 sliding cylinders of retarder every hour, which can improve the operation efficiency by 2 to 3 times. The workload originally required to be completed by 3-4 operators can now be completed by one person operating the production line. Compared with manual cleaning, the automatic cleaning effect is more thorough, and there are no problems of residual oil sludge and parts debris. Automatic oil filling and nitrogen filling are more accurate during installation. When tightening the sealing cover, it can ensure that the top standard of each machine is consistent, further improve the equipment maintenance and repair standards, and ensure the normal service cycle of the equipment. In addition, the automatic production line uses clean water and customized cleaning agent to replace aviation kerosene with strong volatility and high lead content to clean the sliding oil cylinder, which is more safe and environmentally friendly.
