The financial intelligence office of the SAR government, together with the Macao Customs and the judicial police, investigated cases of cross-border suspicious large amounts of cash and bearer negotiable instruments, so as to maintain the security and stability of Macao's economic system. The financial intelligence office will further expand the scope of industry participation in the public-private cooperation model, conduct special analysis on suspicious transactions submitted by the financial industry and the gambling industry, timely feed back the results to the regulatory authorities and the industry, further improve the suspicious transaction reporting template, and collect comprehensive data content to improve the risk assessment. Huang Shaoze said that he would actively assist the chief executive in making various decisions related to national security and fully implement relevant policies.
