The reporter learned from the Shenzhen Central Branch of the people's Bank of China on the 22nd that since the pilot implementation of the "cross border financial link" business in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Dawan district on October 19, 20 banks in Shenzhen have completed the pilot filing. In the first month of opening, the cumulative business scale in Shenzhen has exceeded 100 million yuan. According to the data, as of November 19, 20 pilot banks in Shenzhen had opened 5079 accounts related to "cross-border CAITONG" business, handled cross-border remittance of funds of 104 million yuan, and individual investors participating in "cross-border CAITONG" had purchased investment products of 54.184 million yuan, accounting for 39.0% of the total "cross-border CAITONG" business in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao 39.5% and 36.2%. The data also shows that trading in both north and south directions is more active, but the preferences of North and South investors for investment products are slightly different. Nantong investors prefer deposits, while beixiangtong investors prefer financial products. Under beixiangtong, individual investors from Hong Kong and Macao purchased 39.591 million yuan of domestic investment products, including 27.918 million yuan of financial products and 11.672 million yuan of fund products, accounting for 70.5% and 29.5% respectively; Under Nantong, mainland individual investors purchased a total of 14.593 million yuan of Hong Kong and Macao investment products, including 13.958 million yuan of deposits and 635000 yuan of investment funds, accounting for 95.6% and 4.4% respectively.
