According to foreign media reports, German hensault company recently released a multifunctional Jammer (KA system) which is mainly used for air platforms to deal with the threat of air defense systems. It is reported that the characters in the English full name of the jamming system represent "artificial intelligence" and "electronic system" respectively, which means "attacking with artificial intelligence electronic system", that is, disturbing enemy sensors and their communication by disturbing the radio and radar signals of available frequency bands, so as to ensure that our side has the advantage of electromagnetic spectrum, delay and hinder enemy actions. Ka system operation diagram As a new airborne jamming system, Ka system adopts advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence algorithm, active electronic scanning array, 3D printing and digitization. Its core components include fully digital broadband sensors and effectors, electronically controllable jammers and 3D printing electronic devices. The whole system is integrated in a small pod and can be quickly installed on various air platforms. Ka system is mainly used to deal with threats such as wide coverage frequency band, fast frequency hopping speed and difficult interference of radar signals of advanced air defense systems and fighters. Therefore, the system combines the EW system with high-tech hardware to optimize the jamming frequency, so that it can blind the enemy radar system in a large frequency range, or be used as a reconnaissance sensor in passive mode, and finally realize the control of the electromagnetic spectrum. The system is suitable for self-protection system of air platform and escort jammer. Ka system suppresses the enemy's air defense system in the form of air interference and reduces the enemy's ability to use the electromagnetic spectrum. There are three combat modes. First, interference in the defense area. Suppress the enemy's integrated air defense system, protect our own air forces from ground to air missile attacks, and complete combat tasks. Second, escort interference. When carrying out escort mission, it carries out electronic attack on the enemy and interferes with the enemy's radar signal. Third, prevent interference outside the area. Provide long-range jamming for our own combat operations, master the advantages of battlefield electromagnetic spectrum, and improve the combat effectiveness of radar and communication systems. It is reported that Ka system adopts modular and scalable design architecture, which can not only ensure the efficiency of the system, but also facilitate subsequent upgrading. Its output frequency covers a wide range and can be adjusted according to different combat modes and jamming signals, which helps to improve the EW capability of the carrying platform.
